gaṇeśa uvāca |
devāśca munayaḥ sarve varaṃ brūta hṛdīpsitam |
durlabhaṃ tvapi taddāsye tapasā toṣito bhṛśam ||
Gaṇeśa said: / O gods and all you sages, declare the boon desired in your hearts; / though it be hard to obtain, I shall grant it, for I am greatly pleased by your asceticism.
