gaṇeśāno nije loke'gamadvai bhaktavatsalaḥ ||
"So be it," [the Lord] said to him, and then disappeared. / Gaṇeśa, lover of his devotees, departed indeed to his own realm.

oṃ tatsaditi śrīmadāntye purāṇopaniṣadi śrīmanmaudgale mahāpurāṇe dvitīye khaṇḍe ekadantacarite svāyambhuvavarapradānaṃ nāma pañcamo'dhyāyaḥ ||
Oṃ tat sat. Thus ends the fifth chapter, named 'The Bestowal of the Boon on Svāyambhuva,' in the Ekadanta narrative in the second section of the glorious and supreme Purāṇa-Upaniṣad, the glorious Maudgala Mahāpurāṇa.
