pūrvajanmani vipreśo'gastyo'yaṃ parikīrtitaḥ ||

Upon Prīti, from Pulastya, the lord of yogins, a son not born of a womb arose;
in his previous birth this lord of brāhmaṇas was celebrated as Agastya.
