tata ekākṣaraṃ mantraṃ dadau tasmai mahāmuniḥ |
gaṇeśārādhanaṃ sarvaṃ bodhayāmāsa yatnataḥ ||
Then the great sage gave him the single-syllable mantra; / he carefully instructed him in the whole worship of Gaṇeśa.
