dvābhyāmābhyāmṛtuḥ proktaḥ sa ṣaḍṛtubhirucyate |
saṃvatsarapramāṇākhyaḥ kathitaḥ kālavedibhiḥ ||
By two of these [months] a season is declared; and with six seasons, / it is named the measure of a year, as declared by those who know time.
