nimeṣamātraḥ kālo yo laghvakṣarasamanvitaḥ |
daśapañcanimeṣaiśca kāṣṭhākālaḥ prakīrtitaḥ ||
The time consisting of just a twinkling of the eye is equal to a short syllable; / and by fifteen twinkling of the eyes, the measure of a kāṣṭhā is declared.
