kalau daśasahasraṃ vai varṣāṇāṃ ca yadā bhavet |
viṣṇustyaktvā tadā pṛthvīmālayaṃ svaṃ gamiṣyati ||
When indeed ten thousand years have passed in the Kali age, / then Viṣṇu, having abandoned the earth, will go to his own abode.
