tarpaṇaṃ pitṛdevānāṃ munīnāṃ ca samācaret |
pañcayajñādikaṃ sarvaṃ nityaṃ śāstre prakīrtitam ||
He should perform water offerings to the ancestors, deities, and sages; / the five great sacrifices and all [such rites] are proclaimed as daily in the scriptures.
