evaṃ nānāvidhaṃ dharmaṃ gṛhasthaśca samācaret |
tṛtīyabhāga āyuṣyayuktaḥ so'pi vanī bhavet ||

Thus the householder should practice multifaceted dharma; / when his lifespan reaches the third portion, he should become a forest-dweller.
