karapātrī sa saṃnyāsī grāse grāse mahāmune |
aśvamedhādikaṃ puṇyaṃ prāpnotyatra na saṃśayaḥ ||
That renunciant using his hands as an alms-bowl, O great sage, / obtains at every mouthful the merit of a horse-sacrifice and the like; of this there is no doubt.
