jñānadaṇḍaparityāgāt svayaṃ yogī bhavennaraḥ |
niṣedhavidhihīnaśca svecchādharmaparo bhavet ||
By renouncing even the staff of knowledge, a man himself becomes a yogin; / and free from prohibition and injunction, he becomes intent on the dharma of his own will.
