This incarnation of Mahodara named Heramba
has thus been described to you, O great sage; from hearing it, it grants all perfections.

oṃ tatsaditi śrīmadāntye purāṇopaniṣadi śrīmanmaudgale mahāpurāṇe tṛtīye khaṇḍe mahodaracarite rāmacandracaritaṃ nāma ṣaḍviṃśatitamo'dhyāyaḥ ||
Oṃ tat sat. Thus, in the glorious final Upaniṣad of the Purāṇa, in the venerable Maudgala Mahāpurāṇa, in the third section, in the account of Mahodara, the twenty-sixth chapter, named 'The Life of Rāmacandra'.
