ettate sarvamākhyātaṃ śṛṇu tasya kathānakam |
kṛtavīryasya bhūpasya puṇyadaṃ śṛṇvate bhavet ||
All this has been told to you; listen to his narrative, / of King Kṛtavīrya, which bestows merit upon the listener."

oṃ tatsaditi śrīmadāntye purāṇopaniṣadi śrīmanmaudgale mahāpurāṇe tṛtīye khaṇḍe mahodaracarite kṛtavīryavrataprāptivarṇanaṃ nāma trayastriṃśo'dhyāyaḥ ||
