oṃ tatsaditi śrīmadāntye purāṇopaniṣadi śrīmanmaudgale mahāpurāṇe caturthe khaṇḍe gajānanacarite jyeṣṭhaśuklacaturthīmāhātmyavarṇanaṃ nāma ṣoḍaśo'dhyāyaḥ ||

Om tat sat. Thus ends the sixteenth chapter, entitled “Description of the Greatness of the Fourth Lunar Day of the Bright Fortnight of Jyeṣṭha,” in the story of Gajānana in the fourth section of the glorious and ultimate purāṇa-upaniṣad, the glorious Maudgala-mahāpurāṇa.
