bakadālbhya uvāca |
purāvṛttaṃ madīyaṃ yacceṣṭitaṃ śṛṇu bhūmipa |
tena tvaṃ gaṇarājasya jñāne sunipuṇo bhaveḥ ||

Bakadālbhya said: / Listen, O protector of the earth, to what was done by me in the past; / through that you will become fully skilled in the knowledge of the king of the Gaṇas.
