rājye'bhiṣicya putraṃ svaṃ sapatnīko yayau vanam |
tatra taṃ gaṇarājaṃ so'bhajatānanyabhāvataḥ ||
Having consecrated his son in the kingdom, he went to the forest accompanied by his wife; / there he worshipped that king of the Gaṇas with undivided devotion.
