evaṃ nānāvidhaṃ pāpaṃ cakre'sau durmatiḥ sadā |
vane sthitaḥ kadācidvai janān jaghne mahākhalaḥ ||
Thus that evil-minded one constantly committed sins of various kinds. / Once, living in the forest, that exceedingly wicked man killed people.
