svādhīnaṃ sahajaṃ brahma na yogyaṃ śāntide pare |
tenā'haṃ brahmaṇi bhrāntaḥ sūryaṃ ca śaraṇaṃ gataḥ ||

The independent, innate Brahman was not suitable for the peace-giving Supreme; / therefore, bewildered concerning Brahman, I went to Sūrya for refuge.
