pañcamyāṃ sa mṛtaḥ pāpī brahmabhūto babhūva ha |
vratapuṇyaprabhāvena tadadbhutamivā'bhavat ||
On the fifth lunar day the sinner died and became one with Brahman. / By the power of the religious observance's merit, it was as if a wonder occurred.
