tatastaṃ pratyuvācedaṃ kṛṣṇo vacanamuttamam |
yaduvaṃśabhavaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ māṃ jānīhi mahāmate ||

Then Kṛṣṇa replied to him with this excellent speech: / "Know me to be Kṛṣṇa, born in the lineage of Yadu, O wise one!"
