satrājitaṃ sa hatvā vai maṇiṃ jagrāha dāruṇaḥ |
saṃsthāpya tailadroṇyāṃ taṃ kṛṣṇaṃ satyāyayo tataḥ ||

Having killed Satrājit, the cruel man seized the jewel; / having placed him in a trough of oil, Satyā then went to Kṛṣṇa.
