ajñānena karoṣi sma pāpaṃ jñātvā'nutāpavān |
vratācaraṇamātreṇa niṣpāpaḥ puṇyabhāg bhaveḥ ||
You committed sin out of ignorance; having recognized it, you are remorseful. / By the mere performance of the vow, you will become sinless and share in merit."
