anuṣṭhānaṃ dvijaiḥ so'pi vedamantraiḥ sukhapradaiḥ |
akārayattathā tebhyo na phalaṃ cā'bhavat kadā ||
He also had twice-born [priests] perform rituals with Vedic mantras that grant comfort, / yet no result ever arose from them.
