aṣṭākṣareṇa mantreṇa dhyātvā gaṇapatiṃ nṛpa |
atoṣayaṃ viśeṣeṇa cittanigrahabhāvataḥ ||
Having meditated upon Gaṇapati with the eight-syllabled mantra, O king,
I pleased him exceedingly through the disposition of restraint of the mind.
