tena stuto mahāyogī pulastyoṃ'tardadhe prabhuḥ |
rājā svanagare gatvā kārtike harṣito'bhavat ||
Praised by him, the great yogin, the lord Pulastya, vanished;
the king, having gone to his own city in [the month of] Kārtika, became filled with joy.
