ajñātavratajenaiva puṇyena gaṇapaṃ gataḥ |
dṛṣṭvā yogaparo bhūtvā brahmabhūto babhūva saḥ ||
Solely through the merit born of the unconsciously observed vow, he went to Gaṇapa; / having seen him, devoted to yoga, he became one with Brahman.
