ekādaśadine nāma guṇeśa iti cakrire |
dvijāḥ śivau harṣayutau pūjayāmāsaturdvijān ||
On the eleventh day, the twice-born gave him the name "Guṇeśa"; / the joyful Śiva and Pārvatī worshiped the twice-born.

oṃ tatsaditi śrīmadāntye purāṇopaniṣadi śrīmanmaudgale mahāpurāṇe vikaṭacarite guṇeśāvatāravarṇanaṃ nāma saptatriṃśattamo'dhyāyaḥ ||
Om tat sat. Thus ends the thirty-seventh chapter, named "Description of the Incarnation of Guṇeśa" in the deeds of Vikaṭa, in the glorious final purāṇic Upaniṣad, the glorious Maudgala Mahāpurāṇa.
