uttarāṅgādgaṇeśasya samudbhūtaṃ svabhāvataḥ |
brahma sauraṃ sadā satyavācakaṃ devasattamāḥ ||
From Gaṇeśa's northern side, by his inherent nature, arose
the Solar Brahman, which is ever expressive of truth, O best of the gods.
