idaṃ sarvaṃ samākhyātaṃ yadyat pṛṣṭaṃ tvayā mune |
śrotumicchasi kiṃ bhūyo vada tat kathayāmyaham ||
All this has been related, whatever was asked by you, O sage; / what more do you wish to hear? Speak, and I shall tell it.

oṃ tatsaditi śrīmadāntye purāṇopaniṣadi śrīmanmaudgale mahāpurāṇe aṣṭame khaṇḍe dhūmravarṇacarite māsānāṃ māhātmyavarṇanaṃ nāmāṣṭacatvāriṃśo'dhyāyaḥ ||
Om tat sat. Thus ends the forty-eighth chapter, named “Description of the Greatness of the Months,” in the story of Dhūmravarṇa, in the eighth section of the glorious Mudgalapurāṇa, the late Purāṇa-Upaniṣad.
