manorathān pūrayatīha gaṅge carācarāṇāṃ jagatāṃ pareṣām |
ato gaṇeśaṃ pravadanti cāśāprapūrakaṃ taṃ praṇamāmi nityam ||

He fulfills (pūrayati) the desires (āśā) here, O Gaṅgā, of all the mobile and immobile worlds;
therefore they call Gaṇeśa Āśāprapūraka. To him I bow eternally.
