amaṅgalaṃ viśvamidaṃ sahātmabhirayogasaṃyogayutaṃ praṇaśvaram |
tataḥ paraṃ maṅgalarūpadhārakaṃ namāmi māṅgalyapatiṃ suśāntidam ||
This universe along with embodied beings is inauspicious, perishable, joined with non-union and union;
beyond it, bearing the form of auspiciousness, I bow to the lord of auspiciousness, the giver of true peace.
