gaṅgovāca |
nāmnāṃ yat hṛdayaṃ proktaṃ tvayā brahmapradaṃ param |
na tatrānubhavo me tu tadarthaṃ vada śaṅkara ||
Gaṅgā said:
The supreme heart [hymn] of names that gives Brahman was spoken by you,
but I have no direct experience of it; explain the means to that, O Śaṅkara.
