tebhyastāramayaṃ viśvaṃ samutpannaṃ priye purā |
atastārayuto mantro gaṇeśaikākṣarākṛtiḥ ||
From them, O beloved, the universe consisting of the praṇava (tāra) arose in ancient times;
therefore the mantra endowed with the praṇava is the form of the single syllable of Gaṇeśa.
