dhūmravarṇa uvāca |
varān brūta mahābhāgā dāsyāmi stotratoṣitaḥ |
devarṣayo hṛdi sthān vaḥ sudurlabhatarānapi ||

Dhūmravarṇa said: / Choose boons, O fortunate ones, divine sages, pleased by the hymn of praise I shall grant / those that reside in your heart, even the most difficult to attain.
