aṃśurbhagaścātitejā ādityā dvādaśa smṛtāḥ
nāsatyaścaiva dasraśca smṛtau dvāvaśvināvapi
Having made the gate impassable to the fierce, they stand at the door, / known by name as Kalmāṣa and Pakṣin, the lords of birds and departed spirits.
