ya eṣa maṇḍale hyasminpuruṣo dīpyate mahān
eṣa viṣṇuracintyātmā brahmā caiva prajāpatiḥ
The nimeṣas are the axle-linchpins, and his poles are regarded as the lavas;
the night is the chariot-fender, and dharma stands high upon it.
