vṛhadvala uvāca
sthāpito yadi sāmbena sūryaścandrasarittaṭe
tasmānnādyamidaṃ sthānaṃ yathaitad bhāṣitaṃ tvayā
Bṛhadbala said: / 'If the Sun was installed by Sāmba on the bank of the Candrabhāgā, / then this place is not the primeval one, as has been spoken by you.'
