vaśiṣṭha uvāca
etatte'haṃ pravakṣyāmi paraṃ guhyaṃ vibhāvasoḥ
purā mitreṇa yat proktaṃ nāradāya mahātmane

Vaśiṣṭha said: / “On the delightful bank of the Candrabhāgā is the city named after Sāmba; / that is his eternal abode on earth, where Sūrya resides perpetually.
