tato madhyāhnamārūḍhe jyeṣṭhāmūle divākare
sāyakānyān dvijaḥ kṣiptvā reṇukāmidamabravīt
Having sat down in a pure place, restrained, facing east or north, / having washed the feet and the two hands, with his hands placed inside his knees, he should thus sip water.
