vṛhadvala uvāca
kathaṃ sāmbaḥ prapanno'rkaṃ kena vā pratipāditaḥ
ugraṃ śāpaṃ ca samprāpya pitaraṃ sa kimuktavān

Bṛhadbala said: / 'If the Sun was installed by Sāmba on the bank of the Candrabhāgā, / then this place is not the primeval one, as has been spoken by you.'
