hiraṇyakaśipoḥ pautrī diteḥ putrasya sā smṛtā
sā viśvakarmaṇaḥ patnī prahrādā cīcyate budhaiḥ
In the cold season he is copper-coloured, and Ravi is red in the dewy season; / thus the colours of the Sun arising from the seasons have been described.
