sāmba uvāca
aho sūryasya māhātmyaṃ varṇitaṃ harṣavardhanam
yena me bhaktirūtpannā pare deve vibhāvasau
Of Rudra, Upendra, and Mahendra, of the best of brahmins and the dwellers of heaven, / this splendour belonging to all the worlds has great radiance and is exceedingly fierce.
