Narasiṃhapurāṇa 1.66

sṛṣṭaṃ ca pāty anuyugaṃ yāvat kalpavikalpanā
narasiṃhādirūpeṇa rudrarūpeṇa saṃharet //
And He protects what is created age after age as long as the Kalpa endures,
in the form of Narasiṃha and others, and in the form of Rudra He dissolves [it].
