sūta uvāca:
brahmā bhūtvā jagatsṛṣṭau narasiṃhaḥ pravartate
yathā te kathayiṣyāmi bharadvāja nibodha me //

Sūta said:
Becoming Brahmā, Narasiṃha proceeds with the creation of the universe;
how [this happens], I shall tell you, O Bharadvāja; listen to me.
