saptadhā te sarve maruto yato jātamātrān mā rodīr ity uktavān |
mahendrasya sahāyā amī maruto nāma devā babhūvuḥ ||
All those Maruts were [divided] into seven parts because, as soon as they were born, he said, "Do not weep!" / These gods named the Maruts became allies of Mahendra.
