23.17

ḥbhaviṣyāṇi manvantarāṇi kathyante |
ḥtad yathā ādityāt saṃjñāyāṃ jāto yo manuḥ pūrvoktaś chāyāyām utpanno manur dvitīyaḥ sa tu |
ḥpūrvajasya sāvarṇasya manvantaraṃ sāvarṇikam aṣṭamaṃ śṛṇu ||

The future cosmic eras of the Manus are now described. / Namely: the Manu born to the Sun from Saṃjñā was mentioned before; but the second Manu was born from Chāyā. / Hear of the eighth cosmic era belonging to Sāvarṇi, the elder brother.
