Narasimhapurana 3.17

3.17

pañcadhādhiṣṭhitaḥ sargo dhyāyato 'pratibodhavān
bahir anto 'prakāśaś ca saṃvṛtātmā nagātmakaḥ
mukhyasargaḥ sa vijñeyaḥ sargasiddhivicakṣaṇaiḥ //

While he was meditating, the creation established five-fold was unconscious, / devoid of light inside and out, of enveloped nature, having the character of immovable things; / that is to be known as the Primary Creation by those skilled in the success of creations.
