sarge tu bhutāni dhiyaś ca khāni khyātāni sarvaṃ sṛjate mahātmā
sa eva paścāc caturāsyarūpī munisvarūpī ca sṛjaty anantaḥ //
In the primary creation, the Great Self creates the elements, the faculties of intellect, and the renowned spaces—everything; / then he himself, the Infinite One, assuming the four-faced form and the form of sages, creates thereafter.
