sargānusargau kathitau mayā te samāsataḥ sṛṣṭivivṛddhihetoḥ
paṭhanti ye viṣṇuparāḥ sadā narā idaṃ dvijās te vimalā bhavanti //
Primary creation and secondary creation have been told to you by me in brief for the expansion of creation.
Those men devoted to Viṣṇu, twice-born, who constantly recite this, become stainless.
