brāhmeṇa vidhinā kuryāt praśastena dvijottamaḥ
yathāyogaṃ tathā hy evaṃ vivāhaṃ varṇadharmataḥ //
The best of the twice-born should perform the marriage according to the praised Brāhma rite,
